We’re excited to share this 5-night all-inclusive experience with you.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all ticket purchases and attendance at the Bali Kizomba Retreat (the “Event”), operated by Dance Loop (ABN 53 680 790 014) (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agree to these Terms, including the No Refund Policy and Liability Waiver below.

1. Tickets & Transfers

• A minimum USD $300 deposit for the full retreat is required to secure your place, which is non-refundable.

• By paying a USD $300 deposit, you agree to pay the remainder of your ticket cost by the start of the Event.

• In the event you have not paid the full amount of your ticket before the Event commences, we reserve the right to deny you entry to the Event.

•  All tickets are personal but transferable

•  Transfers are only allowed with our approval 

•  You are responsible for finding your replacement attendee and passing on all relevant details 

Once a transfer is approved, please notify us so we can update our records and ensure everything runs smoothly.

2. NO REFUND POLICY (IMPORTANT)

As a small, independently run retreat, we put a lot of care, planning, and upfront investment into creating this experience for you.

Because of this:

👉 All ticket sales are final and strictly non-refundable.

This applies no matter the reason, including:

•  Change of mind or personal plans 

•  Illness or injury 

•  Travel delays or cancellations 

•  Visa or entry issues 

•  Personal emergencies 

•  Schedule conflicts 

•  Changes to instructors, facilitators, or programming 

If you’re unable to attend, you have the option to transfer your ticket in accordance with Section 1.

We really appreciate your understanding—this helps us commit fully to creating the retreat for everyone attending.

Exceptions

Any exceptions to this policy are:

•  Entirely at our sole and absolute discretion, and 

•  Do not create any expectation, precedent, or right to a refund in the future 

No Refunds in Specific Situations

Just to keep things clear, no refunds will be provided for:

•  Partial attendance of the retreat 

•  Any unused portion of your ticket or retreat package 

•  Removal or refusal of entry if you breach these Terms or behave in a way that goes against our community guidelines

3. Event Changes & Cancellation

We always aim to deliver the retreat exactly as planned, but sometimes adjustments are needed due to logistics, weather, travel conditions, or operational requirements in Bali.

If needed, we reserve the right to:

•  Adjust the daily schedule or retreat flow 

•  Replace or substitute instructors or facilitators 

•  Modify activities, locations, or accommodation arrangements where necessary 

We’ll always do our best to make any changes smooth and positive, and these updates do not automatically entitle you to a refund.

If the retreat is fully cancelled before it begins, we may, at our discretion:

•  Offer a partial refund, or 

•  Offer a credit or transfer to a future retreat 

We are not responsible for any additional costs you may have incurred, such as flights, insurance, visas, or other travel-related expenses.

4. Personal Responsibility & Waiver (Important)

This is a dance and movement-based retreat, and participation involves physical activity.

By attending, you acknowledge that:

•  You may be physically active for extended periods 

•  There is a risk of injury (including slips, falls, strain, or fatigue) 

•  You participate entirely at your own risk 

You agree that:

•  You are physically and medically fit to participate 

•  You take full responsibility for your wellbeing throughout the retreat 

•  You will stop participating if you feel unwell or unsafe 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you:

•  Release Dance Loop, its team, instructors, contractors, venues, and partners from liability 

•  Waive any claims for injury, loss, damage, or death arising from attendance or participation 

•  Accept responsibility for your own actions and decisions during the retreat 

5. Liability

We do everything we can to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable retreat experience. That said, by attending, you understand and agree that:

•  You participate at your own risk 

•  We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings 

•  We are not liable for injuries caused by other participants, third parties, or unforeseen circumstances 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your retreat ticket.

You also agree that you are responsible for any damage you cause during the retreat, and you will cover any associated costs.

6. Entry & Conduct

This retreat is designed to be a respectful and welcoming space for everyone.

You agree to:

•  Treat all participants, staff, and locals with respect 

•  Follow guidance from facilitators and staff at all times 

We may refuse entry or remove any participant (without refund) if they:

•  Are intoxicated or disruptive 

•  Behave aggressively, offensively, or inappropriately 

•  Harass or make others feel unsafe or uncomfortable 

•  Fail to follow retreat guidelines 

This is an 18+ event only.

7. Media & Photography

By attending, you acknowledge and agree that:

•  You may be photographed or filmed during the retreat 

•  These images and recordings may be used for promotional or commercial purposes 

You will not receive compensation for this, and you waive any right to approve how media is used.

8. Privacy

We only collect the information we need to manage your retreat experience, such as your name and contact details.

We:

•  Never sell your data 

•  Only use it for retreat-related purposes 

•  Comply with applicable privacy laws

9. Travel & Insurance

You are responsible for:

•  Your flights and travel arrangements 

•  Ensuring your passport and visa requirements are valid 

•  Purchasing travel insurance (strongly recommended) 

We are not responsible for:

•  Entry denial into Indonesia 

•  Travel delays or disruptions 

•  External booking issues 

10. Respect for Bali & Local Culture (Very Important)

We are deeply grateful to host this retreat in Bali 🌺

By attending, you agree to:

•  Respect Balinese culture, customs, traditions, and local laws 

•  Be mindful of appropriate dress and behaviour in public and sacred spaces 

•  Treat local communities, staff, and environments with care and respect 

We reserve the right to remove any participant (without refund) whose behaviour is disrespectful to local culture or community values.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you agree that any disputes relating to these Terms, your ticket, or your attendance at the retreat will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

While the retreat takes place in Bali, Indonesia, your ticket purchase agreement is made with us in Australia. We also operate in good faith in accordance with applicable local laws and international standards where the retreat is delivered.

12. General

•  If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining sections still apply 

•  These Terms represent the full agreement between us 

•  Purchasing a ticket confirms acceptance of everything above
